Orientation Session

If you have not taken a kickboxing class with Shape Up before then you will need to participate in an orientation session before attending the regular classes. The orientation session is approximately 1 hour long and covers such things as:

  • Proper stance
  • Slides
  • Punches (jab, cross, hook, uppercut)
  • Snap kicks
  • Knee strikes

Regular Classes

Here you will build upon what you learn in the orientation. Each class will be different and may include various:

  • Drills
  • Punching and kicking combinations
  • Focus mitt work
  • Cardio circuit
  • Ab/core work

Classes are 50 minutes long.
Please note this is neither a cardio kickboxing class nor a martial arts class.
